How do I stop captions in part of the video?

There may be occasions where you do not want captions to appear in the video. For instance, your video may contain a slide displayed for a few seconds where no one is speaking during this portion of the video.

Stopping captions from appearing in part of the video is easy. Simply add a second caption break behind the caption break where the captions should stop displaying in your video briefly.

Place a cursor in the Text Editor behind the caption break where the caption gap should start. The click the red Plus sign on the right side of the Text Editor to add a new caption break. Next, click on each caption break (the stacked red dots) to adjust the start and stop time of the captions breaks as needed.
